South Australia's state of the art railcar maintenance facility was to be faster, cleaner and more efficient ... and it needed a fall arrest system to match
The relocation of the Railcar Depot to Dry Creek was an opportunity for the government of South Australia to provide a maintenance depot that would revitalise the metropolitan rail network.
With Sayfa selected to provide fall protection for the depot's maintenance personnel, the choice was easy. The RAPTOR rigid rail system is easy to install, easy to use and ensures fall arrest protection for multiple operators while providing unrestricted movement.
"With 810 metres of Raptor rigid rail installed within a two week period the project was miles ahead of the competition."
A system that required minimal maintenance was also part of the checklist and RAPTOR again was the perfect fit: the proprietary system has minimal moving parts and maintenance is only required every 12 months. Additionally, the system can be easily extended should the facility undergo any future growth.
Our Accredited Installer, who worked closely with the site builder, provided a timely installation based on very tight deadlines and we are extremely pleased to report the system was installed in record time.
