Roof pitches for static lines

Video transcript

Hi, and welcome to today’s Tek Talk.

Today we’re going over static lines on our roof mount systems.

Going across the roof, our static lines can go up to a 30 degree pitch. We prefer 25 degrees only because when trying to use a static line system on a metal deck roof on 30 degrees, you can load the system constantly.

One of the things that you have to take in note is that all of the intermediate spacings, over a certain degree needs to be closer, which is all in our documentation.

When traveling up and down the roof, the limitation is 15 degrees and this comes back to an Australian Standard which relates to the permanent attachment system.
